Date set for Pandemic bill submissions

The closing date for submissions on the Law Reform (Epidemic Preparedness) Bill is 6 June. The bill contains several across-government provisions, including tax provisions to be used in case of an outbreak of pandemic flu or other highly contagious disease. The bill had its first reading on 9 May and was referred to Parliament's Government Administration Committee for consideration.
